A Christmas Message From Atlantic Pacific

December 19, 2024

The Festive Season is almost upon us and we would like to share a few words ahead of Christmas and New Year.

It feels like we have reflected on a challenging time for supply chain every year since the pandemic, but once again it has been.  2024 started with Asia vessels being routed around Africa and the year has been plagued with port congestion and strikes.

However, with hostilities continuing , our thoughts and prayers very much remain with the people impacted by the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East.

It is difficult to predict how 2025 will look as there are some significant upcoming events that could alter the shape of things to come. The first being the change in US presidency in January with the threat of US tariff increases, then we have the biggest reshuffle in carrier alliances for a decade in February.

In the meantime, we would like to once again thank everybody involved with our business for the incredible support this year. This was a year that witnessed us being awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise and winning the BIFA European Logistics Award, which we really couldn’t have done without you!

And finally, to our incredible friends, colleagues, suppliers, partners and customers, we wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, from the directors and staff of Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics.
