Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics is proud to announce that 2024 has been formally established as the baseline year for measuring our carbon footprint across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions. This milestone reflects our commitment to transparency, accountability, and meaningful action on climate responsibility.
We are particularly pleased to report that the policies we have already put in place are delivering results: our direct emissions (Scope 1 and 2) remain low and are on a clear path to further reduction. These outcomes are a direct result of targeted measures designed to improve efficiency, reduce energy use, and lower operational impacts.
Looking ahead we are turning our focus to Scope 3 emissions, those generated across our value chain, including suppliers and business travel. Addressing Scope 3 represents a significant opportunity to extend our sustainability impact, and we are now working to implement initiatives that encourage lower-carbon practices throughout our network. This includes engaging more closely with suppliers and rethinking how our team approaches travel.
“Setting 2024 as our baseline year gives us a solid foundation to track progress and accelerate action,” said Ashley Nichols, Chair at Atlantic Pacific Group. “We are proud of the work already achieved, but we also recognise the scale of the challenge ahead. Our Scope 3 strategy will be central to delivering long-term impact and supporting our vision of a more sustainable future.”
By combining strong internal policies with a growing emphasis on collaboration across our supply chain, Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics is confident in its ability to drive measurable progress toward lowering its carbon footprint year on year.
