China Feeders Cancelled Until February

Feeder operations in South China have been suspended from late December 2021 to mid-February 2022.

This is due to the COVID-19 quarantine requirements for ship crews travelling between South China and Hong Kong, which will continue to be effective until after the Chinese New Year 2022 holidays.

This suspension will impact services to and from smaller Chinese ports, which are not covered by direct calls on the primary vessel. Some smaller ports are served by transhipment services, that use feeder operations to connect from hub ports.

At this point, there is expected to be little or no impact to vessels calling at major ports. However, with no feeder operations, container transport services may be affected by higher than usual demand.

The Atlantic Pacific team are continuing to monitor the situation closely. If you require further information, or are concerned about current shipments, then please do not hesitate to contact one of the team..
