Christine Kicks Off First BIFA YFN Meet Of 2024

Atlantic Pacific Group Director – Christine Nichols – kicked off the BIFA Young Forwarder Network (YFN) event in Felixstowe this week, being the guest speaker at the first Anglia region gathering for 2024.

BIFA’s YFN is designed to help early talent and young BIFA members develop their knowledge and professional skills, in a social environment.

The scheme, which is managed by the industry’s young forwarders, consists of several regional networking groups in the North West, the Midlands, Anglia, the South East, and London Heathrow.

Regular events in each region provide YFN members with the opportunity to network with their peers, learn from industry professionals and boost their continuous professional development.

Drawing on her invaluable 50 years of industry experience, Christine delivered an inspirational presentation to the young members with her usual contagious passion.

Through collaborative Q&A sessions and speed networking, the group also explored the diverse avenues for growth and inspiration within the industry.

With such fantastic opportunities for younger members, it seems the future of our industry will be safe in their hands.
