Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics

Covid-19

The health and safety of our customers, employees and suppliers is our first priority. All Atlantic Pacific offices have implemented measures to protect our customers, suppliers and employees from Covid-19 in according to recommendations from the World Health Organisation (WHO).

As Countries differ in their approaches to managing the risk of Covid-19, and the individual situations in those countries are constantly evolving we are adapting our business continuity measures accordingly. Atlantic Pacific have adapted our physical locations to enable social distancing, staggered work schedules, safe commuting, frequent disinfection, and regular cleaning procedures.

In regards to risk of virus on packages and pallets we receive and deliver, we deem the risk low, following WHO statement of “The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.”

As a leading global logistics business, we are used to the challenges of disruption to supply chains on a regular basis. We review continuously our business continuity plans, and would be pleased to assist any of our customers in specifically reviewing and managing their own plans and any specific risks within their supply chains.
