Elephant Statues Don’t Move Themselves

The Atlantic Pacific team were out and about recently delivering elephant statues to artists, ahead of this summer’s ‘Herd in the City’.

As sponsors and logistics partners of the fantastic event in Southend-On-Sea this summer, the first task was to get more than 30 elephants, weighing around 50kgs each, to the individual artists homes and workshops.

Once the statues have been painted, we will be returning them to temporary storage, before laying them out throughout the city in the summer.

In all, there will be up-to 50 large elephant sculptures and 70 baby elephants on display, with the ultimate goal being to raise funds for Haven’s Hospices.

For further information on this wonderful event, please visit the Herd page on our Unity In Community Website HERE.
