Environmental Focus
We are proud to have once again achieved ISO14001:2004 this year, a certification we have held since 2009. Environmental impact remains at the core of our business, and we continue to monitor and manage our impact through established policies.,
We have also taken the important step to monitoring our scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by establishing 2024 as our baseline. Our report has been produced and can be read here. We are particularly pleased to report that the policies we have already put in place are delivering results: our direct emissions (Scope 1 and 2) remain low and are on a clear path to further reduction. These outcomes are a direct result of targeted measures designed to improve efficiency, reduce energy use, and lower operational impacts.
Looking ahead, we are turning our focus to Scope 3 emissions—those generated across our value chain, including suppliers and business travel. Addressing Scope 3 represents a significant opportunity to extend our sustainability impact, and we are now working to implement initiatives that encourage lower-carbon practices throughout our network. This includes engaging more closely with suppliers and rethinking how our team approaches travel.
At the same time, we recognise that our role as a logistics provider does beyond reducing our own footprint. We are committed to driving sustainability across our client’s supply chains by proactively reporting on their emissions and presenting ‘green solutions’ to help them on their journey to decarbonisation.
