First Meeting With A Waddle-On-Sea P-P-P-Penguin.

June 27, 2024

First Sight Of Waddle-On-Sea P-P-P-Penguin.

Atlantic Pacific Group directors – Chrissy and Ashley Nichols – had their first opportunity to meet a ‘Waddle-on-Sea’ penguin this week on the seafront in Southend.

Following the success of last year’s Herd In The City, and Hare’s About Town in 2021, the next ‘Wild In Art’ public art event will be Waddle-On-Sea, which will be coming in summer 2025.

The penguin statues will be individually painted by local artists and will adorn the streets of Southend, raising critical funds for the fantastic Havens Hospices.

Once more, Atlantic Pacific Group will be providing support through sponsorship and logistics, which means we will certainly be p-p-p-picking up a penguin or two.

Havens Hospices provides specialist care and support for patients who are living with incurable conditions and their families. They must raise over £124,000 every week to be there for everyone who needs them and the Wild In Art events have played an essential part in achieving their goals.

Hares About Town raised £508,000 for Havens in 2021 and that was topped last year when Herd In The City raised £580,000. Atlantic Pacific Group are extremely proud to have played a role in these previous events and are already looking forward to the summer of 2025.
