Souness Pitches In At The London Freight Club
Christine Nichols, Atlantic Pacific Group Director and Immediate Past Lady Chairman of the London Freight club was delighted to be joined by guest speaker Graeme Souness, former Liverpool and Scottish International footballer, at their April lunch. As ever, the lunch raised funds for charity, in this case MacMillan Cancer Research and the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal.
Souness was part of the great Liverpool team of the 70’s and 80’s, winning three European Cups and 5 English titles with them. He then went on to be manager of the club in the 1990’s and has more recently become a forthright speaking pundit for SkySports and TalkSport.
As you can imagine, he gave a fantastic speech, drawing on many years of football experience at home and abroad. He certainly isn’t one to mince his words.
