Gratitude Raises £100k For NHS Charities
Many of you will be well aware of Atlantic Pacific‘s involvement in the Gratitude public art display this year.
As well as providing free logistics, we also sponsored one of the fantastic sculptures and were delighted to be involved with such a worthy cause.
Now confirmed, the event raised over £100,000 for the charity – NHS Charities Together, and also enabled a direct reinvestment of over £100,000 into the creative industries.
Gratitude was a spectacular outdoor public art installation which commemorated and celebrated the stories of the extraordinary early months of covid-19.
The picture of key workers standing together, but apart, is one of the abiding images of our times – each worker socially distancing, while at the same time showing a unique coming together.
Atlantic Pacific arranged for the 49 statues to travel the UK, being visited by over 50,000 people at Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh and London this year.
