Hares About Town Final Hoorah!

Hares About Town Final Hoorah!

Atlantic Pacific attended an event last night, which was effectively the final hoorah for the Hares About Town campaign in Southend-on-sea last summer.

While our hearts and minds continue to be with the people suffering from the horrific events in Ukraine, it was nice to allow some time for such a positive campaign – that brought sunshine to the town and many Essex folk last year.

Hares About Town was a public art display that raised funds for Haven’s Hospices. The event saw many individually painted hare statues adorn the streets of Southend for 10 weeks.

Atlantic Pacific provided sponsorship, free logistics, and helped raised awareness of the event and very worthy cause.

Last night’s gathering was a thank you to the sponsors, which also served as an update on the success of the event.

  • £508, 480 raised for Haven’s Hospices
  • 175,000 visitors
  • 175,000 app downloads
  • £6.3 million total event impact

Atlantic Pacific are proud to have been involved in such a successful campaign, through our charitable Unit-In-Community cause, we look forward to future events in Southend, which could include something similar next year.
