Hares About Town Raises £447,000
The fantastic Hares About Town public art display has now been packed up and moved out, following a 15 hour logistics operation from the Atlantic Pacific team, and raised a fantastic £447,000 for Havens Hospices.
It has been a great 10 week event, that has really engaged many of the local and Essex based residents, as the brilliant and uniquely designed hares have been exhibited at key locations throughout Southend.
The event closed with a charity auction at Wellbeing Garon Park, Southend, last night, which saw the 30 hare statues auctioned off to complete the fund raising.

Unity in Community, the charitable arm of Atlantic Pacific Group, have been proud to participate in this great event by providing sponsorship, free logistics and promotional support.
As the hares make their way to their new homes, the Gratitude national project, in aid of NHS Charities Together, is making its way to London, via Atlantic Pacific trucks, to make its final appearance of the summer.
