High Winds Halt Felixstowe & Southampton
The Port of Felixstowe has been closed since 4am this morning due to high winds. Currently, it is not expected to open again until around 8-9pm tonight.
Meanwhile, the Port of Southampton suspended shipside operations from 2pm yesterday, which impacts vessel loading and unloading, and we await news of when this may resume.
There may be delays to some transport today and perhaps into early next week. We will update any customers affected by the above during the course of this morning.
