King’s Award For Enterprise
In May 2024, Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics team were arded with the much coveted King’s Award For Enterprise in the International Trade category.
A confirmation statement from the government confirmed that His Majesty The King had approved the Prime Minister’s recommendation to award the accolade, which is widely considered to be the most prestigious award available to UK businesses.
The announcement followed a rigorous and demanding government auditing process, during which Atlantic Pacific demonstrated an excellent compliance record with HMRC, strong environmental and governance practices, outstanding acceleration in overseas revenue, and substantial year-on-year growth.
After two official celebratory receptions, the latter being at Windsor Castle when Atlantic Pacific Group Director Christine Nichols met King Charles, the award was presented on October 16th by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex, Mrs Jennifer Tolhurst.
