Teddy Entertains As Ex-BIFA Head Receives Honor

Former Tottenham, Manchester United, West Ham and England footballer Teddy Sheringham was the guest speaker at the recent London Freight Club, hosted by Atlantic Pacific Director Christine Nichols.

This was the second luncheon hosted by Christine, the club’s first lady chairman, as she welcomed six new members, including two from Atlantic Pacific.

Of particular note from this event, was Christine’s presentation to Robert Keen of an honorary club membership. Robert had been the Director General of the British International Freight Association (BIFA) for the past nine years, before stepping down from the position in recent weeks.

Robert is very well-respected and will be sorely missed as the head of the UK’s most prominent freight forwarding institute, having overseen a tough period for the industry.

A good day was had by all and below you can find a few more images from the luncheon.
