Unity In Community Update
Many of our friends, partners and colleagues will be aware of our ‘Unity In Community’ charitable foundation. Unity houses Atlantic Pacific Group’s involvement, by sponsorship & other means, with charitable causes that are close to our hearts.
Since our much publicised events of the past couple of years, which included heavy involvement in ‘Hares About Town’ and ‘Gratitude’, our Unity team have been continuing their efforts and below is a taster of two upcoming projects.
Lumino City – 16th to 18th February
We are proudly supporting this weeks fantastic ‘free to visit’ Light Festival in Southend-On-Sea. We are sponsoring ‘Disco City’, a bespoke installation with a nod to the nightlife heritage of the city.
Joining us will be legendary local DJ’s, from the past five decades, that will be playing tunes under a giant illuminated disco ball by the seafront.
Herd In The City – Summer 2023
We are providing logistics, for which the first phase started yesterday, and sponsoring one of 50+ large elephant sculptures displayed throughout Southend later this summer.
Along with over 70 baby elephants, created by schools and community groups, they will create a trail and a series of events to raise funds for the fantastic Havens Hospices.
We will be providing a number of updates on Herd In The City during the course of 2023.
