Driving Force Award, Board Appointment & Wing Walking
Atlantic Pacific Group Director and Co-founder, Christine Nichols, has had an October to remember, sharing news of a prestigious award, a new board appointment and an extraordinary fundraising challenge.
Christine received the Driving Force Award at the FFinc 2026 Awards, held at the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge, London. The award recognises success, vision and determination and helping to pave the way for others, celebrating both her achievements and her support for women.

For Christine, the meaning behind the award made it particularly special. She described it as the award she would have chosen above any other, reflecting her commitment to helping others succeed.
That commitment also underpins her appointment to the board of the Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAS). Having received the EVAS Outstanding Achievement Award in 2024, Christine has continued supporting its entrepreneurial community through sponsorship and involvement in presenting SheChain Live.
Her new role provides an opportunity to build on that contribution, championing women in business and helping others gain confidence, recognition and opportunities.

Away from the boardroom, Christine took that same determination to new heights with a charity wing walk. Standing on top of a biplane travelling at around 120mph and reaching up to 1,000 feet, she fulfilled an ambition she had held for more than 30 years.
As Chair of Trustees at Lady McAdden, Christine undertook the challenge to raise funds for the breast cancer charity during its 50th anniversary year. Completing it at 67, while recovering from her second breast cancer, made the experience especially meaningful.
Joined by eight fellow wing walkers, including Atlantic Pacific senior manager Julie Curran, Christine described an unforgettable experience that left her unable to stop smiling.

Everyone at Atlantic Pacific is proud to celebrate Christine’s achievements and the energy, courage and generosity she brings to supporting others.
